Witchy Woman

One of the most common questions asked of me when I worked with Jr High students in Japan was, "What was my blood type?" I was really surprised and at the time I didn't even know my blood type! Why did they want to know? The teacher explained that they wanted to know a personality type based on my blood type. Like knowing your horoscope sign. They wanted to know the year I was born as well.  In Japan they use the Chinese calendar. I'm a tiger.

There was a time when people looked down on those who wished to see their future in the stars. But now we can find a horoscope in most newspapers and magazines. I'm an Aquarius.

Ever built a bonfire on the beach? Danced under the full moon? Taken a midnight hike? No? You really should. It's so fun.

Time to Change Outlooks. Or, I'll Just Find a New Doctor.

As I stated in my last post, I'm Gluten Free. I was so excited after I read all the books about the links to MS and food! I couldn't wait to talk to my doctor about it all. I even brought my books and cookbooks to our annual appointment.

Boy was I deflated quick enough. He didn't even let me finish my sentence. It's just somebody's hypothesis, he said. He didn't want to know how I felt after making dietary changes. Lifestyle changes. Didn't care to look at the books I had lugged in my bag. Didn't want to know that I actually felt the difference.
